Motivated by a love of the north woods Wendy Rouse's art celebrates nature. Subtle political and philosophical ideas work their way into her paintings but always she strives to create a beautiful and engaging piece.
Rouse earned a BFA from University of MN Duluth and a MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art. She has been awarded several artist residencies and Arrowhead Regional Arts Grants.
Wendy Rouse's paintings are in many private and public collections including the Tweed Museum of Art and 3M Company. She is currently represented by Lizzards Fine Art in Duluth MN.
