The Largemouth Brass Ensemble is a group of musicians who come together occasionally to share brass quintet music when requested. During our eight year existence, we have performed at the VCC graduation ceremony, Boundary Waters Care Center, Dorothy Molter Center (dedication of a new exhibit), at the Ely Library (including when the new library was dedicated), during Tuesday Night Live, and for several wedding parties and church services. Our repertoire includes marches, hymns & classical arrangements. The Largemouth Brass Ensemble usually plays for free, but stipends are welcome and used to purchase music or to support local nonprofits such as the Ely High School band program.
