Welcome to Northern Lakes Arts

Welcome to ElyArts.org, home of Northern Lakes Arts Association (NLAA) in Ely, Minnesota, gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. The Arrowhead country of Minnesota has a natural beauty that attracts artists and those who enjoy and support the arts.

The mission of the NLAA is to support and develop the arts – visual, performing and literary – in order to enrich the quality of life in Ely and the surrounding area. We create events in which culture of all types can be enjoyed by residents and visitors to the area.  Read more about us here.

NLAA sponsors events in the visual arts, literary arts, dance, theater, and music. We also sponsor events especially for children throughout the year.  We’d love for you to become a member and/or volunteer your services.
